10 Gift Ideas For 2020
2020 has been a wild year for us all. As you know it has brought a lot of changes to Pop Of Health and The Non Tox Box® as well as the Pop Of Health casa. This year, we are focusing our energy on creating a steady ground and new normal and making up for lost time. So, 2020 won’t have the usual 75-gifts-long gift guide I’ve done in 2019 and 2018 but I’ve pulled together my short list of great gift ideas I’d consider “Pop Of Health approved”. Enjoy!
Pela Case
The only phone case I have used in years. Phone cases and this societal trend of constant upgrades that creates a constant demand for new cases to fit new phones cause A LOT of waste. Phone cases end up in landfills where they slowly (very slowly) break down into microplastics and pollute our planet. Not Pela case! Pela cases are made from plant materials and are completely compostable. When you’re done with it, add it to your compost and it will actually nourish not harm the earth. TRX Home System
We have had this TRX system for years and between this and my Peloton bike, having a gym membership is something that never crosses my mind. Especially this year, when we are spending more time at homes and nasty chemicals are being sprayed all over gyms (if they are even open), having an effective, functional way to to workout and build or maintain strength is key. Bearaby Weighted Blanket
I had never tried a weighted blanket until about a year ago. Since then I’ve been on the hunt for one that was super cute but also thoughtfully made. Everlane Clothing & Accessories (ANYTHING!)
Everlane is my go-to clothing store. They are redically transparent and ethics are at the heart of their business. They care about people and planet alike and make gorgeous timeless long lasting clothing. Some of the pieces you’ll find in my closet and on my body as I type include their Perform Leggings, Re:Down Parka, Pima Cotton Shirts (long sleeve, short sleeve, sleeveless shell - I have them all! They are the perfect staple!), and of course my beloved Oversized Alpaca Crew Sweater.
Pique Tea Set or Matcha Bundle
Pique tea is our go-to in the Pop Of Health casa. It is rigorously screened for toxins including heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxins and radioactive isotopes (didn’t think you had to worry about all of that with an innocent looking tea bag, did you?). Their matcha is the best tasting matcha I have found and whips up so easily into a frothy matcha latte. But we also love their digestive ginger elixir! Pique has a really beautiful gift box out for the holidays called Ode To Tea but given their high price point even a box or two of their matcha makes a beautiful gift wrapped with one of the travel cups from our shop.

Anything Vintage / Second Hand!
Finally, I recommend gifting ANY second-hand, thrifted or vintage find you can! Etsy is a treasure trove for vintage threads and used perfect-condition vinyl. Search Facebook Marketplace or local antique shops for vintage holiday decor, an old gold frame you can swap a new photo or painting into, or a one of a kind upcycled jacket. Let’s normalize gifting reused and repurposed things!
